For more than twenty years, the Forsythia Festival offers handmade arts-and-crafts, toe-tapping entertainment, fun-filled activities for children, enjoyable community events, and delicious food. Location: The festival takes place in downtown Forsyth. From I-75, take exit 187 and turn towards the downtown historic district. Forsyth is 1 hour south of Atlanta via I-75 using exits 187 or 186.

Festival Hours: Saturday, March 10, 10 AM–6 PM; Sunday, March 11, 12–5 PM.

Inclement Weather: The festival will not be rescheduled or canceled due to weather. Sponsors must supply protective coverings/equipment.

Attendance: The Forsythia Festival expects an average of 25,000 people.

Parking: Sponsor parking will be clearly indicated. Sponsors will receive a parking permit, which will need to be displayed in vehicles during festival hours. All vehicles must be off city streets by 9 AM.

Booths: Sponsors may ONLY set up Saturday morning between 6 AM and 9 AM. Sponsors must man and keep booths intact during festival hours. Setup must be completed by 9 AM, Saturday.

Display Area: Display areas are an average of 10-feet wide by 12-feet deep and are located on the city street. Tents or coverings must be self-supporting. Drilling or puncturing street surface is strictly prohibited. Applicants who require electricity must indicate it on their application, and they must provide their own electrical extension cords. Sponsors who would prefer to use generators may do so, but the generators must not interfere with the festival’s atmosphere.

Security: The City of Forsyth Police Department provides security from 6 AM, Saturday, through 5 PM, Sunday
