This free, family-friendly celebration features two days of arts and crafts, delicious food, live entertainment, children’s activities and beloved community traditions. Wear your brightest yellow and help us welcome spring!

About the Festival

Kick off spring with the Forsythia Festival, held annually in downtown Forsyth. This free, family-fun event features a two-day arts-and-crafts show, a 5K, sporting tournaments, and much more! Enjoy mouth-watering foods, fine arts and crafts, and activities the whole family can enjoy! Celebrate the whole week with community events!

Location

The Forsythia Festival takes place in the streets around the historic downtown square of the City of Forsyth, Georgia. From I-75, take exit 187 and turn towards the downtown historic district. The Festival is located 1 hour south of Atlanta via Interstate-75.

Festival Hours

The Forsythia Festival is March 13-14, 2027: Saturday 10AM–6PM and Sunday 11AM–5PM.

Events & Tickets

There are several different events during the Forsythia Festival season. Expect to see some of your family's favorite events in 2027, like the Forsythia 5K, and Hello Yellow & Food Truck Frenzy Kickoff. The 2027 Forsythia Festival will also have some new events for you to enjoy!
